Forrest Griffin to return vs Thiago Silva at UFC 101
Apparently we will see the former UFC Champion back in the octagon sooner than expected. Its been rumored that Forrest Griffin is gonna return at UFC 101 and will go up against Thiago Silva. Both fighters are coming off losses as Forrest lost the title to Rashad and Thiago lost to Machida. Thats a pretty interesting storyline considering both those guys are fighting at UFC 98 for the lightheavyweight title.

Ken Shamrock Suspended for Steroids
It seems that here lately nothing is going right for Ken Shamrock. His fight this month with Bobby Lashley is now off with the news that he has failed a drug test for steroids. He is gonna appeal the test but that will probably prove to be useless due to the fact that he failed for multiple substances.

Lyoto Machida likely to get title shot at UFC 98
Rashad Evans has said that he believes his next opponent will be Lyoto Machida at UFC 98. At the UFC 98 post-fight press conference Dana White was saying that Rampage Jackson would be fighting Rashad at UFC 98 even though it would be his 3rd fight in 5 months. It was clear during the press conference that Rampage wanted a title shot but wasnt thrilled with the thought of having to fight again in 2 months. He mentioned having to discuss it with his trainer, needing to have his jaw checked out and being upset because he had his time off already all planned out.
I believe that here in a few weeks we will find out that Lyoto machida will be the one fighting Rashad Evans at UFC 98. Remember for more mma knockout information check back here regularly.

Welcome to my mma knockout sanctuary
I finally broke down and started my own mma blog. I love the sport so much that it made little sense to discuss it all day on other people's sites when I could do my own.
